Hi! I’m Bruce, a grade 11 student and the founder of the Vancouver Youth Mathematical Modeling Association (VYMMA). I started VYMMA because I wanted to bridge the gap between theoretical math and real-world problem-solving. I truly believe that mathematical modeling is a powerful way to tackle complex challenges and create meaningful change.
As a passionate and curious learner, I’m dedicated to building a collaborative community where students can explore their creativity, sharpen their critical thinking, and use math to make a positive impact on the world. I’m excited to empower more young people to discover the beauty and power of mathematical modeling!
